How did you attract/address your audience?

After initially finding out what our target audience was, we found out what kind of films they liked to go and see and what attracted them to those types of films.
After finding this out we were able to add things into our film that would make it appealing to the initial target audience such as an interesting soundtrack. For example, the new Iron Man film, uses only AC/DC songs for the soundtrack. This is because they know who their target audience is and AC/DC is from their era. The music is also fit for purpose.

The mise-en-scene in our film is effective, for example the poison bottle would intrigue the audience into thinking what is going to happen. The characters also attract an audience, because if you use a well know actor/actress in your film they're going to attract an audience on their own, both men and women would want to go and see a film based around women. Men would want to see our film because they like thrillers and they would be interested in seeing a good looking woman in their favourite genre of film. Women would want to see our film because it is contrasting to the conventions of thriller films by there being a woman as the main character. They can relate to her as they are watching the film because she is an every day, working professional. They automatically think this at the beginning of the film because the end shot is at the beginning. 

There is a myth that twin feel each others pain, this could be transposed into our film because of the fact that the bad twin is trying to kill the good twin - the bad twin might feel her pan and effect will be killing herself.

'Chick Flicks' are usually based around the idea of women's relationships, this is not the case in our film. I think that this would attract a wider audience, because it might encourage 'Chick Flick watchers' to g and see a thriller that had elements of a chick flick. his in turn would result in them watching further thriller movies.
